About Kentucky Bluegrass SWANA Chapter
The Kentucky Bluegrass SWANA Chapter is dedicated to supporting and promoting SWANA’s goal of advancing the practice of environmentally and economically sound management of municipal solid waste in Kentucky.
The mission of the Kentucky Bluegrass SWANA Chapter is to serve our members and the solid waste community by providing programs and information to enhance solid waste management.
Kentucky Bluegrass SWANA’s membership includes representatives of municipal or government public sector organizations and corporations as well as small business owners and individuals.
Kentucky Bluegrass SWANA provides opportunities for all members to participate and benefit in the sharing of information and ideas. In order to achieve the Kentucky Bluegrass SWANA Chapter’s mission and objectives, Kentucky Bluegrass SWANA’s Board of Directors meets on an as-needed basis. The Chapter also provides annual meetings for members and regular member workshops as well as an annual State ROAD-E-O competition.
